HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUTUBE VIDEOS WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE INSTALLED ON DEVICE

YouTube, one the  major sites that hosts the largest number of online videos only allows streaming videos uploaded to it. It does not provide any option of downloading it and watch it offline any time we wish as we’ve all noticed. Over time, many developers have come up with applications installed on a computer or phone to enable the user download that specific video from YouTube he/she may have wanted.

In other words, without that application installed on your PC or Phone, you can’t download that video. 

Fortunately, wizards haven’t rested.  Today we have sites that can retrieve/extract YouTube videos using its YouTube address.

The procedure is as below.

STEP 1

Go to YouTube and search for that specific video you wish to download.

STEP 2

In the address bar of the YouTube video, you will see it its address (URL) of course which appears like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... Or http://m.youtube.com/watch?=... If you’re accessing the site via Mobile Version of YouTube

Substitute “www. “ or “m.” with “ss” (without quotations) such that the address appears as http://ssyoutube.com/watch?v=...  

Now, launch that new address you have edited (Click ENTER/GO on your keyboard)

STEP 3

The next page that displays should show the video you accessed earlier on YouTube with download links of different formats available. 
Download the format you wish.

Done!

ALTERNATIVELY; 

1.     Copy the YouTube address (URL)  

2.    Open another Tab or Window on your browser 

3.    Go to  http://www.music-clips.net/ 

4.   Paste the link you copied in (1) above in the space provided on that site above

5.  Select the format of video you want and Click Convert

In a few seconds the download link to the video video will be provided.
