Facebook Launches Messeger Lite

Aside Facebook Lite, Facebook Inc. has decided to launch Messenger Lite, a stripped down version of the full Facebook Messenger App. These 'Lite' apps are essentially designed to be used by people who have low-end or mid-range phones with low processing power and low ram. This is the same reason Messenger Lite is being launched in countries with struggling economies like Kenya, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, and Venezuela. With time, it's expected to be launched in more places.

David Marcus, head of messaging products at Facebook Inc announced the launch of this app in his Facebook Post.
